Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver Foundation
Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver is a registered charity and community-based organization that has been operating in the Lower Mainland since 1957. We offer friendship-based mentoring programs for boys and girls and provide volunteer opportunities for men and women.
Traditionally, Big Brothers has matched boys who have limited to no contact with their fathers with carefully screened and trained adult male volunteers.
Times have changed, as have our volunteers and the needs of our community. In response, we have developed a menu of programs to suit the diversity of our communities and the busy schedules of our volunteers.
We have also expanded our service area to include communities from across the Lower Mainland, Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast.
